Can I borrow some of your time?

Cliff notes version: note much time to surf, good thing i have the fish.

Training for a Triathlon is really taking up my time. I go to work, come home, take the Browns to the superbowl and then train for about 2 hours then its bed time... and now that I'm dating someone, time is really precious... so lately, surf time has dwindled down to 2 hours instead of the 6... I don't mind, really... as long as there's waves and I have the fish... if you don't like reading ramdom stuff, I'd stop now cause it's gonna get kinda boring and the punctuation and grammar will get worse... so ive been trainging for the triathlon for about 4 months now.. in the beginning, i could barely swim 50m without stopping.. yeah i know how the hell do i surf.. anyway, yesterday, i swam 900m without stopping in about 19 minutes.. give or take 50m... since i dont have a bike yet (money problems... mostly my brother needing help) i cant really gauge it.. but the spin classes are getting easier and im putting more resistance on.. and running... who knew it would be so much fun... im up to running for 60 minutes straight and not being tired after... this has really opened up my eyes to things... no matter how hard or tough i think it is, i shouldnt say anything until i try it... and that brings me to the quasi-girlfriend... damn the guy she dated before me!! fucker really hurt her... but from what little she tells me she shows, i know shell be worth it... sometimes, you just know, you know? ;) hope she doesnt read this... i also started the new job.... i have my own office.. pretty sweet except for the fact that i call it the stall... as in bathroom stall... you see, my office is a modified supply room, one of my walls doesnt touch the ceiling and i can hear everyone talking when theyre next door and to make things worse, theres a microwave in that room too... just like a bathroom... dammit i cant stop thinking about her!!!

Woo Hoo!!

Even though I only surfed one day this weekend, Sunday, it was super good. Only caught maybe 5 waves in about 2 hours; wave quality was an issue. They looked big, but died out once you started paddling for it. After about 30 minutes in the water, I caught my first wave and it was a good one. I popped up, made my bottom turn and set my rail in sweet spot of the wave. I saw the lip trying to kiss me so I just pumped once and got away. What made this wave soo much better was the shaper paddling back out and smiling at me. "Yes, sir, that was a super good one."

After another 45 minutes of waiting and a couple of low quality rides, I caught my second great ride. So I started paddling for it, popped up and thought I was gonna fall over. I caught myself and to my amazement was still on the top of the wave. Did a few pumps and bottom turns here and there. I was trying to throw some spray, but that didn't really happen. This wave just wouldn't end! It kept telling to keep going. So if you've been to Countyline, I would was I was about 10ft to the left of the staircase and made it close to the drainpipe. STOKED.

Can't wait to surf again.

On a side note, don't drive to Huntington Beach on a Friday afternoon from work. Oh, and have reservations.

Happy New Year!

Kinda late, but still meaningful. Happy New Year everyone.

So i was thinking of a resolutions. here are mine:

Be open... (insert words here)
Be patient
Be humble

On a side note. ever wonder why people using the treadmill at the gym actually walk at a speed of 1.0? Seriously, dont you walk faster than that? Just doesn't make sense. You're only gonna get off it and walk faster...

Don't surf in the poo water.
